Ockery – a new free-from brand – has made its debut this week with a selection of frozen fish cakes.
With four varients to choose from – cod, salmond, smoked haddock or crab – Ockery fish cakes are made using sustainably-sourced fish coated in a gluten-free crumb.
“Ockery is all about simple, great tasting food that can be enjoyed by everyone – not just those following free-from diets” said Scandia CEO Lisa West.
“We all know how difficult it can be catering separately for free-from members of the family, so we’ve worked hard to produce mainstream products that are affordable, taste great and are free from too. That way the whole family can enjoy the same great food – saving time, money and freezer space.”
The whole Ockery range bears the MSC ecolable, Made in Britain marque and Coeliac UK’s Crossed Grain symbol.
Unfortunately Ockery’s range is not available in stores just yet, but we’ll keep you updated when we hear more about stockists!
Available in 2 x 90g (£1.99-£2.99), 4 x 60g (£2.49 – £3.79) and 6 x 30g (£2.19 – £3.49) pack sizes to suit “all appetites and meal occasions”, they are free from gluten, wheat, dairy, nuts and soya.
