Ingredients

50 ml vanilla vodka or 45ml vodka and 1 tsp vanilla extract)
30 ml grenadine
15 ml red vermouth
a few drops red food colouring
Waitrose Cooks’ Ingredients Shimmer Sugar to garnish

Instructions

Moisten the rim of a martini glass then dip in the shimmer sugar and set aside.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, add the vodka, grenadine, vermouth and food colouring then shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Fine strain into the prepared glass and serve.
